Selective Hand-Picked Specialty Coffee from El Salvador
Hope & Co. is the brand that proudly represents the coffees produced by the Salaverría-Cáceres and Salaverría-Riedel families. Nestled in one of the main coffee producing regions in El Salvador, our farms produce coffees that are characterized by the renowned balance between acidity, sweetness, and body from the Apaneca-Ilamatepec Region.
Our love and contribution towards coffee has been passed down through four generations and our farms have faced several ups and downs throughout the years. As we all know, recent decades have represented a struggle for coffee producers around the globe. Like most producers, we have endured increasing production costs, low market prices, erratic climate changes, and much more. Our core business in the past century consisted of volume and quality, with a higher focus on volume, which eventually became unsustainable.
We are proud to say that after twenty years of struggles, our efforts in the past three years can be summarized in four letters: HOPE. We have redefined our production strategy by incorporating LEAN tactics with the help of our consulting engineers LEAN COFFEE MANAGEMENT. Furthermore, we understand more than ever the value of quality and have redirected our focus towards SPECIALTY COFFEES.
Working with several specialty coffee mills, as well as artisanal processing in our own farms, we have adapted to current market trends, resulting in high quality specialty HONEYS and NATURALS. We are innovating through different controlled fermentation methods for those who like bolder and more exotic notes from their coffees.

Without the human factor, specialty coffee would not exist. Our industry’s growth should come hand in hand with better opportunities for the people who make it special. We try to take advantage of every opportunity that presents itself to help the communities where our farms are located.
At the start of the pandemic, our country shut down and went into quarantine, leaving many families without jobs and basic resources. We found an opportunity to contribute to the community by lending out 70 acres of one of our farms, San Martín, so that 100 families could plant and harvest corn and bean crops to feed their families.
